Lannie Garrett created and stars as Patsy DeCline (not to be confused with a woman with a name very similar to hers) in a tongue-in-cheek spoof of country music. Through monologues, parody songs and country musics’ all-time favorite chart toppers, Patsy pays tribute to all the big-haired country music queens who came before her. She spurs the crowd to laughter with hysterical tales of her many husbands, her endless hit albums and her wild adventures on the road.
“The Patsy Decline Show’ is a glorious comedy romp, resplendent with glittering costumes, sparkles, spangles and a wig as big as a tumble-weed.

Garrett, as Patsy, is backed by her incredible, 5-piece pedal-steel driven kick-butt country band. Patsy and the band will delight you as they rip and roar their way through classics by Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Tammy Wynette, Ernest Tubb, Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys and many more.

Patsy always gets the audience rolling in the aisles with her irreverent take on all country fans hold sacred. Grown men have been known to cry with laughter when Patsy pokes fun at subjects ranging from plastic surgery, love and marriage, to re-hab and Elvis Presley. Filled with Patsy’s hysterical antics, parody songs and audience participation, this is the perfect show to lighten the mood of any event.

This music is called gypsy jazz and is inspired by Django Reinhardt and his hot club of france. It combines American jazz with the exotic Gypsy sound to create joyous, passionate music.

The musicians of Gypsy Swing Revue and Lannie began a musical partnership in 2004. “I have always adored this kind of music, but never found musicians that could play this difficult and very specialized style. Then I met elliot reed. This collaboration has been no less than joyous to me, “ says Lannie.

Lannie Garrett and Gypsy Swing Revue present Acoustic Swing in the style of Django Reinhardt/Stephane Grappelli’s Hot Club of Paris. Great dance music! Joyous, uplifting, nostalgic fun! Visually pleasing in classy clothes from the 1940’s and stage presence that lights up a room!

Great in a concert setting or as a swing dance party. Violin, Stand up bass, rhythm guitar and virtuoso guitarist, Elliott Reed.

Tunes include: “La Vie en Rose”, “Moonglow”, “Bie Mir Bist Du Schoen”, “Devil and the Deep Blue Sea”, “Bye Bye Blues”, “Cuban Pete”, “Plenty of Money and You” and many more.

A classy choice for any event or concert booking, this show stars Lannie and her Errand Boys of Rhythm Quintet (or trio or solo piano) as they pay tribute in story and song to Mr. Frank Sinatra.

In this tribute, Lannie sings some of the greatest songs ever written and between the songs you’ll hear stories about the private life and very public persona of one of the most mercurial, misunderstood and fascinating American icons and singers, Mr. Frank Sinatra.

A fabulous evening of great music and nostalgia: American song classics like: One for My Baby, One for the Road, That’s Life, Fly me to the Moon, Luck be a Lady, All of Me and many, many more songs help to narrate the story of Frank Sinatra’s amazing life and career.

The band is dressed in 1960′s suits ala The Rat Pack and Lannie will step out in pure Sinatra style.

The best musicians in town make up a quintet of: Piano, bass, drums, guitar, sax.

Lannie Garrett pays fond tribute to Peggy Lee in a lively cabaret review of songs and stories of the artist’s career, and life.
Garrett puts her stamp on Miss Peggy’s fabulous songbook, the lyrics for many of which the multitalented performer wrote. As always, Garrett’s band, “The Errand Boys of Rhythm,” run hot, cool, or swing as the mood demands.

“I’m a Woman,” draws on Lee’s steamy sexuality, for which she was famous. She was a pioneer in this regard in Caucasian culture, drawing inspiration from African-American songstress Lil Green. Lee’s 1943 recording of Green’s “Why Don’t You Do Right?” with Bennie Goodman was her first #1 hit, selling over a million copies. Lannie’s sassy singing along with Bob Rebholtz’s sizzling sax, keep things hopping.

Garrett’s trademark blues mastery shines in “Don’t Let My Love Grow Cold,” an aching tale that includes an awesome musical conversation between Denver’s favorite redhead and Mike Abbott’s red hot guitar. In addition to Rebholtz and Abbott, Justin Adams on keyboards, Robin Ruscio on bass, and Todd Reid on drums dazzle us with their versatility.

Among Lee’s signature pieces are “I Wanna Be Around,” “Fever,” “Sunny Side of the Street,” “See See Rider,” “Is That All There Is?”, “All Right, Okay, You Win,” and “I’ll Be Seeing You,” the finale accompanied by a sweet visual tribute.

In 1998, Lannie Garrett was invited to create a special show for Colorado’s historic, Littleton Town Hall. The show was designed to pay tribute to one of America’s most beloved and prolific composers, Mr. George Gershwin, on the occasion of his 100th birthday. Lannie and her band sold out all four nights of this very special evening and a Sunday matinee was added to accomodate the demand.

The stage was set in black and white with only a touch of red in the flowers on the piano and in Lannie’s vintage costumes. A framed black and white photo of Gerswhin was highlighted by a pin-spot as it sat on the piano.

The show began with the haunting and familiar refrain from “Rhapsody in Blue”on alto saxophone and kicked into Lannie’s sultry entrance on “Fascinatin’ Rhythm.” It swung into the familiar “Let’s call the Whole Thing Off” and bossa nova-ed the beat on her version of “But not for Me.” The show-stopper was Lannie’s poignant, heart-wrenching rendition of, “I Loves You, Porgy” from Gershwin’s operetta, Porgy and Bess.

The second half of the evening showcased a collection of tunes by a group of America’s favorite composers, from Hoagy Carmichael to Johnny Mercer.

Lannie has since performed this show at many corporate events and a sold-out New Year’s extravaganza in 2008.

“After seeing this show, I chose her to be our entertainer extraordinare for a special fundraiser. I can always count on her. As always, the audience loved her.”	–Judy Wolf-Denver Social Activist/Patron of the Arts

Classy. Lannie’s sense of humor and connection to the audience are a given, but in a symphony setting, Lannie’s interpretive skills as a singer shine bright.

Singing the classics from Arlen to Mercer, the memorable from Tom Waits to The Beatles, Garrett’s symphony show is eclectic and entertaining, sophisticated and elegant. Impressed with her critically acclaimed sell-out show at Boettcher Hall, the Colorado Symphony Orchestra asked her to open a summer season of concerts at beautiful, prestigious, Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Her musical scores are beautifully written and arranged by “The Moody Blues” conductor/arranger Larry Baird. Lannie can also custom design a symphony show for you around a special theme or composer. Big Band, Beatles or Broadway.
